Survival skills in jungle

This afternoon after arriving at Bala camp and having rice for lunch we had four sessions on essential jungle skills in order to survive while being in the jungle.





We were split into our four groups for the week and were in competition with each other in order to see who could build the best fires and best shelters, after being shown the skills by local Indonesian guides.




We were then taught how to set up a trap to capture prey and cook it properly on a fire.


The last skill was cutting vines to extract drinkable water.
This was a great way to spend 3 hours with each other and learning so much!
